A Young Boy’s Hobby
Like many young boys, Cris was bitten by the magic bug at an early age. He performed card tricks and coin effects for his family and friends. But a chance encounter with another, older magician sent Cris down a much different path from traditional conjuring.
Magic of the Mind
The older magician began training Cris in the field of “mentalism.” Think of it as magic made to look like mind reading or psychic ability. Cris was drawn to mentalism like a moth to a flame. Adults and teens loved it because it looked so real.
Haunted Houses & Bizarre Magic
Cris and his mentor developed and built several haunted houses as fundraisers for a local church. Witnesses the delighted screams from the paying audiences, Cris sought to bring the same thrills and chills to a standup magic performance. Soon, Cris was performing strange and bizarre magic with voodoo dolls, candles, and other feats along with his mentalism.
The Real Thing
After several years of performing professionally, Cris was introduced to hypnosis. Finally, something undeniably real! Comedy hypnosis demonstrates how humans can use their minds for so much more than our daily lives would suggest. Cris obtained his certifications and was soon performing hypnosis shows across the country.
A Clinic to Help Others
After several years of crisscrossing the country, Cris decided to pull back on his travel schedule. He opened a hypnosis office near his home, helping customers with weight loss, smoking cessation, and anxiety.
Eventually, Cris became both a Board-Certified Hypnotist and Instructor, training others to help people overcome their challenges.
Solving the Mysteries
After the pandemic, Cris rededicated himself to performing, especially the spooky stuff that captivated him as a youth. Realizing how popular murder mysteries still are, he created Solve the Mystery to combine his love of mysteries with spooky and bizarre entertainment.
